It has been quite a journey to be self-aware and realize how I am presenting myself in the world. Being in this capitalistic world that got me into using my masculine energy all the time is not helping me. It was dragging me down. And the fact that I was worried about people’s perception of me.
I have been trying to embrace my feminine energy and stop caring about people’s thoughts of me for the past few weeks. And I am not hating it. I may choose the optimal side of the spectrum for different situations for the rest of my life. That might lead to a more fulfilling life.
To show you ‘how I did it’, I went to read in the park and lay my head on my picnic blanket. That is not what I would do on a weekend! I would often be anxious about my projects while not doing anything about them. If I am wasting time worrying, I would rather enjoy the wonderful spring weather. I just have to wait and see if the inspiration for my novel WIP would come back and beg for my attention again (lol)
After that day in the park, I got a notebook and decided it would only include things that I am grateful for or find delightful. It has been great that I would remember the small things in life better.
To add to that, I want to start working on my commonplace journal again. Not that I stumbled upon Petya’s thoughts on it… I am definitely creating an index for mine. I never did because I didn’t know how. (If you are procrastinating on something, find someone who had solved the problem. I should do that with my novel WIP.)
You can say that the past few months are not doing their proper job. So I need to make EVERYTHING feel romantic.
