Even though Olympics is over, I am still excited about Hong Kong athletes getting medals. I am still obsessed with gymnastics. It was incredible to see Suni Lee winning gold medal in women's gymnastics all-around.
Even though other sports are fascinating to watch, gymnastics remain to be my favourite in the past few years. Their amount of determination, grit and hard work is beyond my imagination. I admire Lee’s determination despite of her dad’s heartbreaking accident.
Nile Wilson was one of the UK gymnastics representatives. But his injuries made his mental health go downwards spiral. He managed to get help and decided to retire from the sport. But he keeps doing amazing videos on his YouTube channel.
She holds me close,
to her heart,
she is the morning sun,
in the thunderstorms that I awake and bare, she is my cleanser,
as I am ink stains,
over her white washed walls of peace and calm,
she is my solace,
and I am her power,
and when asked who she is?
she is the soul hiding within the wild vibrant universe,
the dark that sparks and lights all the bulbs of her existence.
