I have been loving my morning routine lately. Coffee, 3 pages of journaling in the morning (Reference: The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron), meditation and reading.

I realized that I feel much lighter after I finish my morning pages because my worries and limiting beliefs are out of my mind and thrown on the page. I am surprised to see some of my limiting beliefs but I am glad it is now trapped in a page. Meditation is to reinforce the positive mindset and beliefs for the day ahead for you to conquer.

Tim Ferriss has similar reasons for doing his morning pages:

I [am] trying to figure things out, and this might help. I [am] just caging my monkey mind on paper so I can get on with my day.

I want to add a few things to my morning routine. Making my bed would make me feel good about myself in the morning. I would finish tasks with more ease after I reach the flow state.

This is so perfect.
